Modi dubs Congress as 'gudiya' after calling it budhiya
With his description of Congress as budhiya (old woman) kicking up a huge political row, Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi on Sunday changed tack, opting to dub the principal ruling party as a gudiya (doll).

“If my friends did not like my comments about the age of Congress or my calling it a budhiya Congress, then I will not call it an old party. But, will this make the Congress any younger?’’ Mr Modi, who has emerged as the BJP’s biggest crowd-puller, told an election rally at Shravasti in Uttar Pradesh’s Bahraich district on Sunday. “From today, I will call Congress a gudiya,’’ the BJP leader added.
