UP Muslims suffer from insecurity

Muslim Appeasement Committee constituted by the UPA govt
and headed by the lackey of the Congress party, Justice Sachar
is hard at work demolishing the secularist and messiah of the mussalman
CHIEF MINISTER Mulayam Singh Yadav’s claims on the Muslim cause notwithstanding, the Prime Minister’s high-level committee headed by Justice Rajindar Sachar has said Muslims in UP are suffering from “inferiority complex and a sense of insecurity”.
They suffer from an ‘acute sense of deprivation and a feeling of second class citizens’, the committee has said.
This the committee has conveyed to Yadav in no uncertain terms.
Talking to newsmen on Sunday, Justice Sachar said the committee had also brought to the notice of the CM certain “objectionable and incorrect references’ regarding Muslims in the textbooks for the primary and elementary level. Justice Sachar said the CM had assured to look into the problem.
Member secretary Dr Abusaleh Shariff even pointed out that though there had been improvement in the condition of the community at the national level during the last more than one year, there had been no perceptible improvement in the their condition in UP.
Another member Dr TK Oommen said there was lack of infrastructure in Muslims localities in UP. He said the committee had, however, been doing comparative study of basic amenities with other communities. He said there was massive disparity in rural and urban areas.
While people in urban areas were in a better position, the picture in rural areas was gloomy. The committee during its 4-day stay in Lucknow had interaction with more than 800 Muslim representatives and received memorandum also from them.
During its meeting with the CM, the committee laid stress on need for development and participatory decision-making in which the community could access mainstream beneficiary-oriented public programmes.
Yadav had told the committee about the measures taken by the government for the welfare of the community. Committee member MA Basith said credit flow from banks and other financial institutions to UP Muslims was very low.
Justice Sachar said overriding concern of the community in UP was about education, health and reservation in govt jobs. He said while retaining Madarsa education, the community wanted its modernisation.

A very mischevous and dangerous precedent is being set. The precdence lies in
the terms set for the panel, based on a presumption : The committee has been set
up to address the absence of "authentic information about the social, economic and
educational status of the community.'' This panel thus empowered would generate
the convenient data to funnell 'secular' monies into various programs for the musalmman !!!
Who are the scum in the panel : Justice Sachar and company. We must denounce
the panel even before it starts its work and discredit its findings...we must NOT
let this panel get away with it. This Sachar character is buddy/relative of you know
who : Kuldip Nayar !!!!
